i've been wondering about this for a while. my question is... if a stroke of genius and creativity hit the rock and roll world like in the 60s and 70s, would you still be listening to trance?
i can't decide myself.

country probably would've gone underground, so we'd all be listening to that now, bobbin' our mullet-covered heads along to songs about lost dogs.
Ste
of course i would still love trance.

genius is only defined by personal preferences in music.

"musical geniuses" are only generally considered geniuses when a large percentage of people consider then geniuses.

true, they may be really good at whatever they do, but the aint gonna suddenly turn every opposite genre lover in their direction now...

Would be interested to hear it .. but yeah what Ste said

Of course. Then again, i can't stand most 60's and 70's rock, so that probably explains it :p

i'd still have all the same music i'm listening to now....and more.

but to change the question a bit, if you got sent back to the 60s or 70s to the world of hendrix and hippies, but you knew of trance, what show would you goto? hendrix or g&d (for example, choose anyone you want)?

Isnt like Elvis considered a genius of Rock 'n' Roll?? What decade was he about in, the 70's?? If thats the case, then yeah, i'd still be listening to trance, just like I am now.
