i been wondering for a while now...are there any hip hop live sets available?.....and any famous hiphop dj?.....i went to a party about a month ago...and was shocked at the dj....loved the scratching effect.....well yea..help me out

I think Swamper should change the signing up system, instead of signing up with a few clicks...throw them a few trance questions...some hard and some easy.
This will keep in hardcore trance fans and keep away wanabee fools

oi last I remembered, hip hop was one form in the diverse milieu of electronic music. indeed, it was one of the very first forms of electronica, where the art of turntablism first became a recognized musical form in and of itself. so let the man post about hip hop on this board; let's not turn this board into some self-righteous and conformist totalitarian forum.
PS twizta for some good live sets, check out anything by DJ Shadow, RJD2, Cut Chemist, Rob Swift, Z-Trip, and loads more I forget now. Better yet, watch the movie 'Scratch'. I've been out of the hip hop loop for quite a while but these are a few artists I enjoy plugging into once in a while. |
