It's a simple fact of life...the cubs will always lose...no matter how they find a way...they will lose. The only reason they won in 1907 and 1908 is they were actually the only team in the league (well almost)...
That folks...is Cubs Baseball..and why they are the most popular losers in America. I've watched it for 25+ years, my father for 50+ and my fathers father for that more....and don't expect it to ever change...just knowing that they will lose probably feels better than say... the Braves winning 12 straight divisions and only winning 1 championship.
oh well...in the immortal words of all cubs fans:
"There's always next year."

yea, the columbian was killed by drug lords who lost money on the game.
even funnier is in game 7 foul ball, same thing, people ran away from it..didnt want anything to do with the ball. |
