| best female vocalist....Jan Johnston for sure...Sarah McLachlan is good (Canadian too hehe) and Donna Lewis (Take Me Over) sweet vocals for all of them |

I read through this thread and have a hard time believing no one has mentioned Mara !!
As in Mara - Fall from Grace and Mara - Lateral Horizon and a few other great ones..
I also love the voice in Spoiled and Zigo - More and More
And Lucy Cotter from Tekara - Breathe
And Absolom - Secret.. (There's 2 women there)
And Milk Inc..
Damn, and Chicane (I think.. hehe)
I also Love The Morrighan, (which has been mentioned, but deserves a re-mention. hhehehehehe)
I also love Jan Johnston
And Tina Cousins (I think that's her name) from one or two Sash songs... (mainstream, but she does have a nice voice.)
