Yay!
The only thing is that the bass is a bit cluttered and one or two of the note changes sound a bit off to me. However, this is quite sweet. I love the sound you used for the lead..it goes perfectly ontop of that gritty, hard sound you got going.
Nice job for sure.
Oh...just don't wreck it with some cheezy vocals! :D |

Interesting samples. I have to agree that some of the notes are a bit...off, though it sounds like you're working in minor keys for one of them. |

first track...
Please remove that "XTC" sound sample... I've heard it way too many times and it will make your track sound very "amateurish" (even tho it is not)
Ok... with that out of my way... I think this track has potential to be a very good "dancefloor killer"... but right now, it is too slow... your track IMO would sound a lot better if it had a faster more pumping beat around the bpm of hard trance (145-150 bpm?? just a suggestion)... The lead is a mixed bag for me... I do like it and think it compliments this track well.. but on the other hand, it reminds me of darude-sandstorm which I felt was a pretty cheesy tune... It's up to you to decide what to do with it, but I would change it to a supersaw lead instead...
Second Track...
The sound sample sux again :(.. plz remove it... it is ruining a potentially very good track...
I would say I like almost every aspect of the track... sounds very hard and driving... bpm is fine this time... i'll leave the compliments at that... you know what sounds good... ;)
but however, I feel that the notes that you had in the track felt like they were just kinda drawn together randomly and even though it didn't break any "musical rules", it just felt like random notes and felt that it had no direction of structure...
I like the stuff i am hearing, keep up the good work, and never use cheap vocal samples in your track ever again ;) |
