| Omg man that's scary... I actually went to this very forum this very moment to ask about Darren Tate's "Vries-synth"... Not exactly the same question though... What I want to know is how he makes that metallic sound on the last note in each bar fawhewfahwh I can't explain what I mean but I think you get it...? EHhh probably not. I'll find a sample and post it :) |

No where near the mastering quality as the original, which was done professionally and over a much longer period of time (this cover only took an hour).
It's pro 53. its a 6 voice dual saw with an almost full filter decay (to give it that slow metallic fade out that the above post mentioned) with a little bit of analog and no detune. Keep the cutoff almost full and the resonance up pretty high. What gives it that sound is the glide, gotta turn the glide knob up a little more than halfway. |

10 mins doodle. Doesnt sound exactly spot on, but give it a try and tweek yourself :)
