hey guys!
I wanna pierce my Cartilage of the ear!
I'm just wondering how long does it take to heal?

it takes about a good month to heal completely.
it really depends on your ear though. just make sure you dont sleep on that side of yer head and your hair doesnt get tangled up.
oh and get it done with a needle preferably, more expensive but better imo |

| it takes about 8-12 weeks to fully heal. i got mind done in march and it took about that long. yes and be sure to sleep on the other side or the earring will get pushed into the hole and your skin will begin to grow over it!!:eek: :eek: clean it well and follow the instructions they give you and you should have no problems! |

| well for me the pain pass in some weeks dont remember right now!i have a piercing in my nose and i a belly putton as well!the one it hurt me a bit was in my toung!took me 2 weeks to feel better and in the beginning i wasnt able to eat!! :rolleyes: |

| i ate in' yougurt for a week when my piercing in tha tongue was healing... and almost 2 weeks for my piercing between upper chin and lower lip (i didn't like this one, so guess what happened)...:D |

| Ok many of my frieds have their tongue pierced but i newer got around to asking them...does it hort bad when they make a hole in it :nervous: |

| I got my ear pierced like that, near the top... Make sure you get it done in a proper place, I had mine done for about $4 CDN when I was in Canada on a trip. It got infected as , and I had to take it out after awhile, as my ear was like twice the size it was supposed to be :( |

i am assuming you took it out... if so did it leave a noticable scar? |

it didn't... but only because i wore (had) it for a month... not even a dot in that place now... |

| Technically, piercings do not heal...they are open wounds. |

| pretty sure 12 weeks. make sure u use proper cleaning solution so it doesn't get infected. I have 3 piercings: eyebrow,left+right ear. Some piercings do close up depending how big they are and how long u've had them. |
