do you people know so many songs and so many djs? Where do you find them all at, where do you hear them, etc?! I was just curious bc some of you know so many songs and djs!
TrAnCe CoNtRoL
time my friend, time. i came into here with no knowledge of trance at all. just keep browsing the boards, and listen to some broadcasts or live sets. your knowledge will expand, young n00b.

Haha...im such a n00b :(

I try to listen to as many broadcasts and livesets, but i dont know any tracklists or where to find the songs once i have heard them.

Just use the search function, type in the liveset and the artist with the location and you'll almost always find a tracklisting on the forums somewhere. It just takes time to know a lot of songs, don't worry though, it's impossible to know all songs that come out, there are way too many great tunes that are always released! Just sit back and enjoy great music :)
Evil_Gnome
Thanks! :D

Liar! I used to spend like 4 hours a day on vinyl sites and i could name like everything! lolz :P

I dunno a big help for you may be www.discogs.com
other than that time is the key to knowledge, we all used to type tiesto in kazaa at one point or another (or the equivalent of kazaa at the time) well many of us did.

Every1 is a newbie in the beginning.. but then I guess some1 said TIME is the thing.. and yeah i mean the more u browse the boards... the more u listen to sets ...and you get a hang of things..

DJDigDug
i think people who DJ have a larger knowledge base at times as well because we lurk in vinyl websites trying to discover those new ch00ns to drop, i know vinyl websites expanded my knowledge enough to give em recognition
