Hooah! It's that time of the year again, university co-op!
I've gotten a bunch of job offers for the next co-op semester, and most of them are either in Toronto or Montreal. Now going to Toronto fro Kitchener would be no problem, lots of people and family and crap there, but I don't know a single person in Montreal, so I really don't have any idea of what the Trance scene is like there. For those of you that are there, how many good clubs are there or are there any notable places worth screaming about and stuff like that? I'd love to take the Montreal job offers over TO, just something about the feeling of being almost back in Europe and partying like it's 1999 :D haha
Anyways, whatever info you guys can provide will be rewarded by peanuts ;)
Lates all! |

Damn, just like I expected, a happening place ;) I don't understand though, these employers specifically know I don't speak French, just how the hell am I supposed to communicate at work when everyone else will speak French. Bleh, screw it, I'll take this job in TO, then re-learn French for the next time around ;) Je voundrais un verre d'ecureuils :D That's how well I speak hah! |

Well, the kind of work I'll be doing may make that rather difficult. Being a programmer (or code monkey as I call it) usually involves working with rather geeky people who may see going to clubs and hitting parties as a sin against nature, so the first month of work will deffinitely be ... ahem ... "interesting". But whatever the hell, I'll just hook up with a random girl or something and ask her to show me around ;) |

If you want an advice, ask Ortemy from TO forum. He spent here a few months, did a similar job...and didn"t speak French. |

Do you mean give or take? :D You see, if you take enough shots, you'll be speaking all the languages of the world ;)
I'll deffinitely contact him sometime, still have to see which positions I get :P |
