WMC 04 is gonna be pure madness for me cuz I finally turned 21 this year so I can make a whole week long entourage out of it and can actually get into the clubs this time around... Its still SOOO far away though!! :(

LoL I saw it on some TV show hehe.
I thought if you were a chick you could get into the clubs if you are 18, but I guess I was wrong. Well I hope you get to have some fun:D and that the US gov doesn't our scene completely at some point.

my idea is better...forget the hotel youll be paying out ur ass...u get like 10-15 ppl together and rent a house down there for the week...we can all divide in groups of 10 0r 15 and rent a house...these houses are humoungous and have beautiful pools and humoungous backyards...so if we rent out a few houses around the same area...we can throw huge bashes at eachothers places...renting the house is only like 500 bucks maximum spliy between 10 ppl well u do the math...50 bucks for the week...there i did it for ya |
yeah this is a very good plan.
we just have to make sure everyone is postive and that they are gonna be going so nobody gets screwed over if someone pulls out at the last min.
can we rent those houses right on the ocean? close to south beach?
do you have any info where i can lookinto whats available, prices and reservations. |

I would love to go to the WMC, but I've been thinking about going to the New Orleans voodoo fest to see sasha (which would set me back some). Anyways I'd have to get a fake ID for the Miami clubs. Are they still having ultra fest in Miami? That would be worth the trip in and of itself honestly. |
Dave --
Forget the fake ID for Miami.. it wont work Trust Me.
NOTE TO ALL: YOU WILL NOT GET INTO ANY CLUBS IF YOU ARE NOT 21 OR OLDER .
unless you have some sort of hook up and are going in with a dj or something. Trust me I tried the fake ID thing and they will take that and try your ass and send u walking away from the club. They are ruthless down there esp. at Space34.. Even the parties they have during the day at hotels like The Clevelander are 21 and up for guys and girls. It really sucks.:(

Well sadly this is the kind of BS young people in America are up against:
| quote: | MADD Responds to Reports of Bush Twins' Alcohol-related Incident
Statement for attribution to: Millie I. Webb, MADD national president
The reported alcohol-related incident involving President Bush's daughters only underscores the fact that no family -- whether average American or national celebrity -- is immune to underage drinking issues. Alcohol is the No. 1 drug problem among our youth, killing 6.5 times more young people than all other illicit drugs combined.
Unfortunately, alcohol purchase by minors under the legal drinking age of 21 is all too common in this country. It is estimated that at least 2/3 of alcohol outlets sell to underage purchasers without asking for identification. Statistics show that about 10.4 million current drinkers were aged 12-20 in 1998. Of those young drinkers, 5.1 million were binge drinkers and 2.3 million were also classified as heavy drinkers. Twelve to 17 year olds report that they first tried alcohol before the age of 13.
Underage drinking is an issue that reaches beyond our youth, as adults and society as a whole often accepts underage drinking as a rite of passage. It is time to get serious about addressing the problem. We must all do our part: legislators, law enforcement, parents, bar and restaurant owners, youth and educators.
Research shows that parents play one of the most important roles in preventing youth alcohol use by keeping the lines of communication open with their children and setting firm rules and consequences on this issue. We certainly hope the President and First Lady are taking this opportunity to talk with their daughters about underage drinking and we encourage families across the country to do the same.
The restaurant staff and law enforcement officers involved in the Bush twins' situation currently under investigation should be commended for taking action to potentially prevent injuries and save lives. Underage drinking touches all young people, yet sadly, it seems it often takes a high-profile incident to open America's eyes to the problem.
MADD is working hard to tackle underage drinking through awareness and prevention programs, and by also involving young people in social activism.
MADD also worked to pass the federal 21 drinking age and zero tolerance laws. The minimum drinking age law saves an estimated 1,000 lives each year.
Despite the startling statistics, many young people are taking a stand against underage drinking. MADD is here to support these young leaders and to help create a safer society for tomorrow. |
Yes I know this article is two years old, but does anyone really agree with this statement?
| quote: | | The restaurant staff and law enforcement officers involved in the Bush twins' situation currently under investigation should be commended for taking action to potentially prevent injuries and save lives. |
Denying them a margarita saved their lives? Give me a ing break.
MADD has done a-lot to educate people about drunken driving, and they are to be commended for that. But they are at their core a powerful multi-million dollar prohibitionist organization. It makes me angry how the Bush twins were treated like children regardless of how much I hate their father.
(sorry to rant)
