with all the hype going on about Gamemaster 2003 and ppl repeatedly stating that the orig is the best, well i was just wondering wasn't the original called 'my soul'??? So isn't that technically the 'original' version, at least musically??
'My soul' is the one with the shouty black vocal. It can be found on the lost tribe e.p., which I have and might one day sell for lots of cash ;) |

Well they were both good songs, no matter how you looked at it...both beautiful.
That EP isn't that rare aswell, so you won't be able to sell it for heaps just yet. |

| Actually My Soul does have more vocal content than Gamemaster, it just doesn't have the distinctive spoken lyrics in the break that Gamemaster has. My Soul instead has voiceless chanting throughout and some lyrics that say "If you want my love, if you want my soul" etc. (presumably the 'shouty black vocal' you mentioned). |

| as with all remakes I was very sceptical when I first heard Gamemaster 2003. However I must say that the Michael Woods Remix absolute blows me away, and imo definitely does justice to the original, and even the Signum remix of the original. Not too fond of the Matt Darey 2003 Remix (aka the original of Gamemaster 2003) though. |

all these remixes make me puke
the original was the best and will always be the best. I remember it on tranceport 1, one of the greatest cd's of all time. |

| The Michael Woods Remix of Gamemaster 2003 is outstanding, it's so powerful and definately how an update to a track should be done. |
