I had an absolutely awesome night.
Piity it had to finish early, it is a shame when people pike out early =)
I am going to go out on a limb here and say Diggs, Morro, and Liquid M, you guys are being just so damn nice which is great, but alot of us are worried about your wallets flying away with all the moths.
I spoke to many many people, and everyone said that they would pay $20 for the night, and that they wanted to, as they want to do all they can to keep the best trance night in Sydney flying.
The crowd on Friday were just so great, everyone knows everyone, and there is no staus!
We are all just one big happy family!:) :tongue3 |

Dj_Psygnosis: just confirming 4 u 100% Darey is playing @ the next Halcyon. (7th of Nov?)
I had a pretty cool night there. Missed most of D&M's set which was a bit of a bumer considering I really wanted to hear the tricks Diggs had as well as Morro's prog-trance selection (ESP Avril!).
Made it downstairs as sample started and saw a few mixes of his and went up stairs, and spent a few tracks up and down for the rest of his set. Track selection wise, HAD to laugh @ the same accepella intro as @ H20 A few months ago. Sample, time for a new intro ;) Heard the style of set I was expecting from Sample when I was down there. Was a lil shocked to hear Dirt Drills - Music is Life (Original Mix) tho :)
Liquid M did an awsome job of laying things down before Cam[continuing the journey from Sample to Cam, it wasn't too hard or too fluffy](and also managed 2 drop 3 of their tracks :P)
Cam played a really nice set. The crowd that was there, i don't think anyone left, and finishing with Tiesto - Flight 643; AWESOME! EVERYONE went off soooooooo hard. It was perfect. Mixing, was tight, track selection, as always fresh as. [Hearing Beautiful things freaked out a few people{inc me) ;) hehehe]
I think the next Halcyon will be HUGE (as long as Exams aren't in the way}, weather's getting warmer more ppl are venturing out etc.

Damn i was about to just send some demos to Halcyon aswell...wish i done it sooner...maybe would have been a lucky git and been told to play on the same night as Darey :sadgreen:...i wish
Whoever plays that night is gonan be soo lucky :crazy:

Well what can i say except SU-IN-PERB!!!!
Had the best night out ive had in a couple of months!!! Started off with a nice meet up of (an annoyingly depleted lineup) the halcyon regs before heading down for diggs and morro! I walked down to hear Morro playing Dave Gahan - I Need You (Unplugged Gabriel & Dresden remix) and with that great prog track it kicked off a superb night! Diggs and morro pumped out the goods before sample hit the decks and layed down bomb track after bomb track! For track selection this man is hard to beat!
Liquid M came on, and took the vibe to the next level with a great set mixing uplifting anthems with their own brand of driving trance, and produced a stunner of a set!!
And then our own cam o'shea took the decks and finsihed the night off perfectly!! Great tracks, great fun! Nuff said!!
Stand out tracks for me:
Dave Gahan - I Need You (Unplugged Gabriel & Dresden mix) (can these boys do anything wrong???)
Tiesto - Traffic
Delerium - After All (Satoshi tommie remix) (I absolutley LOVE this track)
Tiesto - Flight 643 (Awesome track to close with Cam!!)
PVD - Time Of Our Life
GTR - Mistral

but dont worry, its a trance set from what ive been told, he is trying something new and getting back to the trance should be interesting, he is know for dropping some trance tracks |
