i had a wicked night! still really tired as i had to catch a train at 8 from chesterfield to get to hull so i could be back in time for a concert i were playing in.
i were actually really nervous about using the mixer, and it sometimes managed to make a monkey of me! like for some reason (i was probably doing something wrong) after i had brought the cue'd track in i couldn't hear the old 'live' so i couldnt hear if the tracks started to wonder, which they did slightly in one case.
because all the people were crowded round the booth and jumping around dancing, the needle jumped at one point - right from the beginning of hte track to the end of the second tune on the same side of the vinyl, which meant i had literally 20 seconds to beat meatch and mix Sky Falls Down. :mad:
was really cool FINALLY gettin to meet people off here! jeff u seemed pissed off at about 1am?

ye sorry about that. i currently have about 3 deadly diseases on the go, and i went out the night before and got all sleep so i was generally feeling really .
before that point tho i was lovin it, had a wicked time. luck with the skippage richy, but i thought ur set was nice ;) the dj that was on first (cant remember his name, was pretty drunk lol) was minted! didnt think much to the guy that was on last.. took him 10 minutes to go from goldenscan - sunrise to mad hard house :/
all in all a well fun night. would have enjoyed it better if i wasnt dead, but hey happens.. ;)
and is there footage of the necking? :p |

well.. can't really comment on the mixing cos there was hardly none lol.... the setup was ed for his set, kept skipping on ever mix almost, i felt right sorry for him he was getting well pissed off with it.
but he played some mint tunes near the end, just a shame about the equipment |
