Hi
I am not new to trance but i would like to initiate myself to House music... do you guys know any good compilations or artists to look out for?

Yeah, but Hard House doesn't really have anything to do with house. It's a completely different genre, with a completely different lineage.
You might want to check out these artists mrRedhat:
- Olav Basoski (a god :D )
- Knee Deep (deep and soulful)
- Rhythm Masters (some pretty funked up filtered stuff :) )
- Robbie Rivera (kinda the more disco sound, has done some good stuff, though I'm not a big fan)
- Harry 'Choo Choo' Romero (kinda dirty house music, I like it)
- King Unique (again, kinda the more disco sound)
- Futureshock (exploring the more techy/progressive side of house)
- Roger Sanchez (like his new single, but not a big fan of all the other soppy stuff he's done :) )
- Jose Nunez (again, kinda the harder, more filtered side of house)
- Can 7 (good if you like that tropical, laid back house music)
As for compilations, check out any of the Hed Kandi series, they're bloody brilliant (I think Disco Kandi 3 is the last one out, I seem to remember seeing that that had some pretty good tracks on it).
And that's all I can think of for now.....I'll add some more as they come to mind..... |

Dimitri from Paris & Roy Davis JR. were both in Toronto at different times this year and played Finally TWICE in their sets. Great song. |
