anybody here going to play it or even play the jap version yet? i'm thinking about getting it for the PC.
it's on PS2 and the PC - first game i've seen that has done this, i figure it could be really good but i don't want to shell out $50 not knowing much about it - more info would be nice - anybody? :) |

| This game is going to be more than $50, it comes packaged with a 40GB HD plus you have to pay a monthly fee to play. |

nope, it's 50 US, no 40 gb hd packaged though.. maybe for the ps2, but for the pc you can preorder it for 49.95 USD.. its out in like 4 days... |

no, the ps2 version is $99 and it does come with a 40 gig hd |

PC version is in stores in the US.
As for the PS2 version, "Final Fantasy XI" by itself will never be released on it's own. The only way you will ever be able to get it is if you buy a PS2 Hard Drive when it's released in the US next March.
The HD will cost $99 and have FFXI pre-installed and a copy of the game included in case you ever need to reinstall it for whatever reason. |

| Montly fee of PC version is $13, too bad it wasn't less, otherwise I might try it out, right now I'm so busy with school so it's either get FFXI and fail all my classes, or not get it and try to pass my classes :nervous: |
