What's that crazy sport where they combine elements of rugby, football, and american football all into one? I think if you kick the ball through the soccer goal you get 3 points ... if you kick it through the uprights of an american football goal it's 1 point, and you might have something like a lacrosse stick to use ... can't remember. Anyway, it's the greatest sport I've ever seen. |
australian rules football, perhaps? now that's a rough game. |

| Football ( For Americans, Soccer ) .. is definetly the most passionate sport in the world. Come on, what will compare to the World Cup, Nothing.. its closests to the Olimpics in terms of countries competition. Its a shame why America is not into it, if it were.. Oh boy would it be massive!! .. theres nothing like a Passionate Fan of Football.. lol @ the hooligans, the most dangerous branch of fans out there..:toothless |

I played a variation of that in high school gym class. Can't remember the name of it but you're right, it's fun as hell!
You mostly had to use your feet ala english football, you can kick it in the air for someone to catch, or juggle it to yourself and take 2 steps while holding it. Then you either have to drop it or pass it. There's a goalie with a mat (what we used since it's only gym class) or goal behind him. If you throw it past him it's 2 points, kick it past him it's 3 points. Sometimes we'd bring down the basketball net as well and a shot would be worth 1 point. |

| dont get me wrong, but the US got just as far as England in the last world cup, and came a lot closer to beating germany than you did to beating brazil |

I was never too keen on dallas but after seeing that cheerleaders pic my heart is beginning to warm. Now that the 'Tuna' is there I feel the Jets have a 2nd home in Texas.

how does that work?
We both lost by one goal, and we actually scored a goal.
We also beat germany 5-1 the year before.
So that fact you lost 1-0 to a team which we beat 5-1 throws your theory out of the window, eh?
move on........ |

i think you're confusing a couple of sports there. The one with the stick would be hurling, the one where you kick a football is gaelic football. Just to confuse things even more, Australia plays ireland in a wierd game called international rules, which is half gaelic football and half aussie rules. Since no-one else plays either game, they invented a hybrid game to get the best players from both leagues against eachother, and it's great to watch |
