| depends on what you want to use these speakers for. the alesis are nearfield studio monitors. if you want to produce and downmix music and do general studio work these are proper monitors. if you're looking for a dj booth monitor then the jensen are what you want. me personally i use nearfield studio monitors to practice and record on because they are so much more accurate and you can hear every nuance in the mix so if you're even slightly off you can tell and correct it. the alesis you would not want to use in a live mixing/party/club situation as they just won't be loud enough. |
