| I spinned together with another dj(erix) a 6-7 hour set for about 600 ppl at a convention party here in Finland. 5 hours is pretty usual for me. |

Am I the only person having a hard time deciphering what this says? Maybe it's just me, but it seems this post has some serious coherency issues. I am lost =) |

| played at a rave, two other djs were supposed to come and we were going to play 10 hours between the 3 of us. it ended up that neither of them showed up, and i played the entire thing. thank god i took a 4 hour nap that day. it was so damn long and i could barely see after the set, but my mixing was so damn good by the end. i was actually sitting down and mixing for parts because my legs were tired hahahah!! its ok though, the pay was great, i got the money the other two were going to get plus more :) |

who the hell cares....as long as the dj'ing goes fine, who cares if the dj stands or sits for 15 minutes?
an exception if you're very popular though. but then you usually do not play for more than 4 hours |

I hear what your saying, everyone gets tired but if your being professional about you should tough it out. Unless your djing for some teen party then you can sleep in your bed and dj for all I care. If its a real party show people that your a professional not some bedroom dj.:toothless |

you can sit after you pull off a mix while searching for the next track and what not, but mixing while sitting down is complete BOLLOX. |

| ive always wondered why i never see djs sitting down? Like i dont htink i could stand for 7 hours straight, even at work i need a break! but props to those who do tough it out! you got my respect. |

nothing wrong with a DJ sitting if you
ask me, of course, if he's a good DJ,
he'll either be too concentrated to sit
or the music'sbeat & rhythm simply wont
allow you to,for the most part.
but a DJ needs a breather every now and then! |
