Hi, I finally got all my set up, and I set everything up and everything comes out of the speakers, but the only problem is,, it sounds distorted to !! whats the problem?

You need to elaborate on exactly what you have, and how you have it setup.

I have a pioneer djm-500 and two tech Mk5's,,, I have a stereo receiver and two speakers hooked up to the mixer as well

Check your needles. You mite need to put more weight on them. Also make sure the TT's are grounded to the mixer.

Its ok to hook up a stereo receiver to a mixer right?

also on one of them I put the needle just down on the record and my speakers hum? Thats weird because they are both grounded too?


I am using about 2.5 weight on them

the louder I turn it up the more cracks, & static crap I get

you have the RCAs out of your decks going into the LINE input on the mixer. use the phono inputs.

what do I plug from the mixer into my stereo receiver?

I have them going from booth moniter on the mixer into phono on the receiver
