Ripping mp3 from streming audio?

| Anyone know a program that can rip an mp3 from streming audio and where i can get it? |

| i didnt think it was possible. ive looked everywhere. you mean, like copy music from a broadcast or sumting? if anyone knows, tell me too!!! |

| there has to be a way because i always hear people talking about ripping a song from somewhere like slam fm or radio 1 |

I think there was a program named streambox that could do it, but i'm not completely sure..

| If it's Real Audio or MPG format, Cowan Jet Audio can save streaming. There is a small down arrow on the MP3 rack which allows this...It's called "Streaming" and if that is enabled, you're on your way. |

i have the streamripper one...it works quite well, but i can't find where i got it from...maybe just type "streamripper" into a search engine and see where it goes!?!? :):):) |

| I just use soundforge for that, start the streaming and when hear something good then i just hit record on Soundforge and it's done, then i use AudioActive Production Studio to encode the song or mix into an mp3. |
