As far as we know, no tickets. That's why everyone was crazy selling them on eBay.

(We were thinking about it, especially when those first round of tickets were going for $300+ each)

But, you never know. If people know what they're doing down there, I'd imagine $60 on the low end and $100+ on the high end....

See everyone there! Be safe!

It was a good solid set. A bunch of people from the Spundae boards called out Liquified that they wanted PvD to play a set that we would hear if we were in Europe (note: he usually starts off with a lot of hard stuff when he plays around here)...and Liquified actually told Paul about it or something....

PvD was scheduled to play from 1am - 3am according to his agency.

But he came on early, at 12:30am.

Anyway, PvD came straight out with his melodic high BPM music like we would hear in Europe and the crowd was into him intensly the whole night. He played the tracks you'd expect him to, but he did only play a piece of The Times of Your Lives for about a 45 secs to a minute (I actually think it was a part of the Starecase remix, but couldn't tell) and that was it. If he played the whole thing at another point, I don't remember.

PvD seemed to be enjoying himself all night. I was taking a bunch of pictures and then two FINE girls behind my tapped me on the shoulder saying Paul wanted me to take a pic of him...so I turn back around, look up...and what do you know, PvD really is trying to get my attention to take a picture of him....so I point the camera, he looks smiles and puts his arms out...and I think I've taken a great pic of PvD....but damnit, there's a green streak going across his face. I hate when lights do that at the worst time!!!!!!!

He ended his set at around 3:30am.

From the time I walked up to the door to get in when I arrived, people started recognizing me from all kinds of places, including a bunch of TAers here. I think I met Soltri? once or twice during the night, but I said I didn't remember him from the boards. Sorry dude, I was teh drunky. To all the others, good to meet you although I am real bad with faces and will probably never recognize you if I see you. :)

Overall, great atmosphere. The sets he plays up here are still better, IMO. (which I think people who have heard him here and in LA several times pretty much agree on). Think that might change because I really do believe he will hate playing at Ruby Skye since the crowds there tend to be retarded towards the EDM scene.

If I remember correctly he did play TIMES OF OUR LIVE again towards the end. Yeah he did, cuz I remember he played it once when I was on the top floor and he played it again when I was dancing on the first floor. Hehehe

BTW, anyone that was by the stage, do you remember seeing the speakers moving like they were going to fall down? And what about the floor shaking so hard from the crowd jumping that it seemed like it was going to crush into the basement!!!! When that started happening I was like WTF!!!!! So I got out of the front and went to the back.... that! That's scary........

Excellent night I might add....

OK, so he did play it twice. If he plays what you call the chillout mix at the end, chances are you are thinking of the Starecase mix. A large part of it is chillout. It's an awesome remix, BTW....you should try to give it a listen.

With the floors bending, yes....it was going on all night, before PvD came on. I am sure the floor is intentionally designed to do that since it's a wood floor.

At least the jumping didn't cause the tracks to skip a little from all the movement. It happened to a few of Tiesto's tracks when he played up here last weekend. :p

you forgot:

PVD -- Connected(Moto 05 Mix)
PVD -- Nothing But You (Extended Club Mix)

also, Jerry Bohnam played outstanding set, quite trancey for him 'cause he mostly plays and he produces deep progressive house/deep progressive trance.

Cheers...

it wasnt the Starecase remix, this one had no percussion in it, whereas that one does... he played it in Seattle too for the last song...

uh.. did you not see "NBY" in my tracklist???? and its not called the extended club mix. it's pvd's original mix :P yes i forgot connected so forgive me for that little lapse in memory.

And no.. the chillout remix he played is not the starecase remix. It's called the "pvd time to chill remix" it can be found on the cd single for time of our lives. hope that clarifies it. maybe you should give it a listen too :P
