| Pop Ups are annoying, Banners are fine, Cant blame Swamper [i think]for having them. |

| hey, it probably costs kind of a lot to run a site like this one and the popups are just to have more money to make the site better. I hate them too but I deal with them and I don't think Swamper is going to get rid of them any time soon. Anyway, this thread belongs in the 'Site Suggestions' forum I think. |

| hey he's gotta do what hes gotta do. i think its a small price to pay to just click on a banner once and a while. even if you dont like the pop ups, its not that big of a deal to just exit them. look at what swamper has done with this site, almost 4,000 registered users. just ignore the popups, they are a small price to pay. |

Some things you just have to put up with I guess...It's worth it for the music & forums, but yes they piss me off too.
BTW, this is hardly a music discussion! |

| I understand that they're there for Swamper to make money, and I click the banners. But the pop up window when u come into the forum is annoying because it doesn't appear right away and u either have to CTRL+ALT+DEL it or wait for it to come up. And when it does come up it's usually something that u have to fill out so I just close the window. If it was an ad where I can click to goto a website I would click it. |
