This has to be the most overlooked album in electronic music. Every song was constructed beautifully, and vocals are perfect in those that have them... I like all but 2 tracks from the album

You're aware that Conjure One = Rhys Fulber of Delerium, right? |

Yes I am. That doesn't automatically make his album 'crappy' or 'cheesy'.
Just because it is not trance, it doesn't make him a sucky producer |

I have'nt listened to the album yet, but how would you compare it to Delerium's Chimera album [which I enjoyed very muchly! :)] ?
Would you say that it is more industrial/electronic influenced or does it keep that amazing acoustic and etheral mood of Delerium works?
Also, suprisinglly, I like this new pop-ish direction that Delerium is taking [with Chimera] but I also miss the darkness and melancholy of their older previous tracks - which type of mood does the Conjure One album have?
... or should I just shut up, cause Rhys's Conjure One is Conjure One and not Delerium - and therefore can not be compared... and that I should just go out and buy the album because it is that good! :) |

It has a kind of less commercial feeling than delerium. A bit more downtempo, and more enjoyable to the ear. The vocals are just gorgeous... You have to hear it to experience it really...
Deep, ambient, and breaks...a little bit of everything |

About a month or so ago I posted a thread about Conjure One, but NO ONE, I MEAN NOT A SINGLE REPLY WAS POSTED! Makes me mad that this thread is noticed. I myself invested in this album through a friend of mine, and it ain't bad, but I don't like it as much - I just keep it to increase my music collection size, hehe '-). I like the second CD of this release. It has several tracks from the first CD mixes by several well-known producers such as Hybrid, Max Graham, Junkie XL , etc.:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: . Overall an OK Album.
By the way, Conjure One is one of many alias / projects of the guy behind Delerium to all who didn't know, HEHE! |

That's cause they are stuck inside an 'only trance' world... No pun intended... |

Rhys Fulber of Front Line Assembly > Delerium > Intermix > Noise-Unit > Synaesthesia > Pro-Tech > Will > Decree > Cyberaktif and Equinox. This is a man of many many talents.

Tidal Pool, Manic Star and Premonition are my favourite tracks, but all are generally excellent. Superb album. |
