You have to convert your .MP3 files into .WAV files.
This can be done using a number of different programs. I recommend music match jukebox because its fast, free, and reliable.
Hope this helps |

You don't neccesarily have to convert them to wavs, and if you do convert them to wavs, you could still burn em to cd as wavs (data), and still not be able to play them in your cd player.
You simply need to burn them as an audio cd... (rather than Data).
Depending on the program, you may need to convert them to wavs to do this... But a lot of programs now will burn mp3's as audio tracks, and do all the conversion themselves... (Easy CD Creater needs you to convert to wavs first. (at least up to version4, haven't tried 5.) |

I've got version 4.0 of Adaptec Easy CD Creator...
It automatically converts my MP3's to .wave files
If you get a copy it should do the same;) |

My mistake.. Either way stk, the important thing is to make sure your burning the cd as Audio, and not Data.

So does Nero. Nero actually encodes "On The Fly" so you don't even to convert before burning. I think Easy Seedy Creator can do this but I prefer Nero much more over Adaptec... |

I'm actually starting to love using CDRWin, especially or specifically for megamixes, IE 80 Meg mp3's... You can just write a cue sheet, and it'll break the mp3 up into as many audio tracks as you want. (You can also burn straight from MP3)...
Really saves time if you usually break it up yourself in soundforge or something like I used to.. |

you can break up sets right in nero as well. the reason i like nero over adaptec and others, is you can adjust the spaces between tracks, burn tracks with filters( such as equalizers, fade in, fade out, crossfade, hiss reduction, etc etc), plus cd text and much more. if you havent tried nero, you should. best burning program ive come accross:D |

I agree with InsomnEac and Paul Griffiths 1 Nero is my favorite out of all I've ever used.
It may be slightly harder to use than others, but it is still pretty easy to use and there are LOADS of options:D :D |
