I have quite a LOT of fav moments:
3/23/02 Sandra Collins @ Spundae/CREAM @ Liquid Nightclub, South Miami Beach. I had a digital camera and i was wasted to a very high degree; i selected MPEG movie mode, hit the record button and i screamed into the camera, "I'm f**cked up!!! So f**cked up!!"
7/26/02 Paul van Dyk Live @ ClubSpace. Simply put, THE GREATEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. I was annihilated beyond human comprehension, and I was stumbling. I reached for my friends shoulder and wound up grabbing one the girls we were hanging out with, i grabbed her boob by mistake. LOL
8/17/02 DJ Tiësto Live @ ClubSpace
A short while after Tiësto started his set, they let loose the CO2, and i had my digital camera and recorded it. :) Later, when he played Way Out West - Mindcircus (Gabriel and Dresden remix), Tiësto blared the TRUCK horn.
8/19/02 Sasha Live @ Crobar (Backdoorbamby)
When The warm-up DJ played a Star Wars prog trance track; it had Obi-Wan Kenobi's voice in it, he said something about the force. It was cool. I never heard that song again. :(

I took on a raver with my red and purple photon lites. It was my first battle. I am not good at raving, but I try, my style is improvisation. Me and him had a crowd of ppl watching us, so it was major league awesome. When we were thru battling, we hugged and gave props and stuff. :)

When he played Rank 1 - Airwave 2003 (Breathing) (Breaks dub) OMG I felt so happy it was unreal. I also got BOMBARDED with CO2. I couldn't even see my hands in front of my face! Later, he played Another Way, Autumn, Tell me why (Vandit mix). Basically it sounded like his Innercity 2000 set, and i LOVE that set. :)
And finally, Ultra Beach Festival 8/31/03. Paul van Dyk on the decks.
He played Motorcycle - As the rush comes (Sweeping strings remix) Me and a buncha other ppl started singing the song out loud while it played. :) |

DJ Hixxy playing at System 6 Reboot in February. (System 6 organise about half of the raves that happen in Brisbane). His entire set was absoultely amazing. Granted its not trance, but that was the only time I have been in a room where the atmosphere was so overwhelmingly electric and so thick you could cut a chunk out with a knife and put it in your pocket. The entire place was jumping and bumping like there was no tomorrow. Unbelievable.
Second to that was seeing Thrillseekers play a few months back at the Family (a club in Brisbane, voted best nightclub in Australia I think). They dropped Synaesthesia and I just went :crazy:! |

| i have two favourite moments... the first is when i saw john digweed spin at lotus in the summer....i hadnt been to a trance or prog house event in a while....and after attending this i've been even more hooked on trance and prog house than ever...the second is when i saw armin at guvernment on thanksgiving weekend....he just took me to another world. My friends and i were just having a blast..it was just an amazing night |

| Paul van Dyk for Guvernment 7 year Anniversary (also German Cultural Festival in TO which brought Paul here). Best party for me so far...he dropped Second Sun - Empire (Politics of Dancing Remix) and we all went nuts (heard it before when he was here 2 years ago). It just gets better every time I hear it. :D |

not really a moment, but seeing Dave Dresden dj at a club called Vibe in Hartford, CT a couple of years ago. this was before i knew who he was or had ever been to this website. He totally owned the club. it was amazing. all i knew at the time was that he wasnt one of the residents but was ripping up. i will never forget that night.
turns out Dresden got his start djing in CT, he must have been in town that weekend and decided to drop in. back then he was going by dave "the wave" |

Tiesto playing Carte Blanche @ Cream a few weeks back, also got a wee chat with him that night which was nice,
Also Armin playin his remix of as the rush comes at Creamfeilds, it was the first time i heard his remix, and every1 sang along.
Also Fergie playing Simple Minds - Belfast Child(Fergie Remix) at GK Belfast was class |
