I've downloaded a track from http://64.225.140.161/images/dracid/nov00/
The tracks are saved as .doc (windows word format), but need to be renamed to something else, before become .mp3 files, I've tried .exe, .zip & .mp3.
Anybody know what they should be?
Thanks |

Check the header of the file. That might give it away.
Cheers. |

Those mp3s are from shadow-zone's website (if u didn't know that)... you need to rename it to .exe
it is a .exe format, however you need to install a special .reg file in order to use the .exe files. When you install the .reg file, the .exe files will be able to work and self extract the mp3s.
shadow zone does this to make sure lamers dont copy thier links and get away with it... i think... :)
goto: http://beam.to/shadow-zone and go into the "new mp3" section to get the .reg file.
shadow zone owns!!! |

Okay, thanks.
I didn't know they were from shadowzone.
i just had a link to a whole lot of mixes & .doc files (which I assumed were more music), no html, so I couldn't tell where they were from.
I downloaded the .reg file, installed it, then renamed the .doc to .exe - got a size error - wrong file size found, not too sure what happened. Must be a download error.
