Go the Technics headphone clan! The one thing I own that doesn't age. still brand new after club use, school destruction, use by others in club! These babies are the shiiit!

On a slightly related topic, does anyone use pioneer hdj-1000's? If so how do they compare to the technics, I've used the techies alot and find nothing wrong with them apart from the actual ear pieces to be a tad small, and have only used the hdj's once so wasn't really able to give them a fair comparison...

i used pioneer before
it feels very very different from my technics 1200
just didn't like it being wrapped around my head. (folded everywhere)

sound quality? its great but sounded different a more like spacy
where technics it sounded deeper like the bass was there banging in ya ear :)

but its always best to go to try them on your own to see whcih one you prefer ;)
Ghostface
i use the hdj1000s and can't complain about them in any way shape or form. I tried the technics but didn't like them at all. They weren't comfortable for me, the earpieces felt strange and I didn't like the sound.

The pioneers are sturdy, have a strong fit (takes getting used to), and great sound and I have played out in them as well as used them at home.

im up for a new pair of headphones in the next few months so might order them from OS.

I LOVE my sonys, i love the sound! BUT THE FRIGGEN BREAK :whip: so i wont be getting them again :(

My friend has the new pioneers, they look and sound pretty good, but i still prefer the sound of the sonys but these may be the next best thing. But i might end up going for the HD25s

technic headphone alliance indeed.

lanithium, let us know how u go.
i want a pair of sony V6s/7506, which are terribly overpriced here.

Lanithium
well they *finally* sent them today... a week after i paid for them... just to add to my frustration they would only send them by fedex which not only cost me $30 more ($65 shipping allup!).. but they also said i would most likely be hit by import duties... great! :|
Lanithium
came today =) wasnt expecting them till friday so thats a plus!

didnt have to pay any import duty.. even though they were sent using fedex

:D
