Very good point. I know that number 3 was quiet and I was like  eek while i was mixin it coz it seemed to go into a hole... because of a volume. Ive tried to use a live normalizer/compressor but that just slowed my pc down, so i think i might post-normalize my mixes from now on. I never have b4 so i might try it for Çend Project 002. thx Haiku for the comments... :D

TS, the volume should not be corrected by a normalizer. This really is your job while mixing. This is the whole purpose of the gain on your mixer (in case there is one).
Most mixers have LEDs that show you the volume of the track playing and the one you want to mix. You can adjust these with the gain. If you do not have the LEDs, you can do this by switching the PFL between both records and adjust by ear.
If you do not have a gain, you can still do it by leaving the volume of a loud record at 7 or 8 (of 10) and going above that with softer records...
Imagine mixing to a live crowd. You cannot normalize everything after you're done with your mix.....
Hope this helps.

Thanx a lot djdawn. This is good to know yet even more daunting to find out how much more i have to do as a dj. :whip:  hehe. Oh well, i'm doing it for the love of the music so what the hey ! Ill have a look @ what your talking about and i think when i'm mixing i do have to make it slightly quieter to start off with. (the thing is i usually forget after a quiet song and the whole mix gets louder from the next loud song). hehe. I will also normalise my mix-cd's from now on i think but u are right about the live thing ;).

Thx Dude. :)
