*HINT:

Ok, for the rest of you's, you's ARE looking in the wrong file. xnet.js is just a decoy.

^ Study this line more!!!

Yeah, give yourself a real pat on the back for figuring that out... especially converting to decimal, it takes almost 3 seconds to copy/paste that into the windows calculator and hit the "dec" button.

Sorry, I just think this site is lame. I mean, it's a neat "riddle" type thing, but anyone who calls this "hacking" needs to have their head examined.

"Hack into this site"

14-year-old script kiddie phrase. Ugh.

How many people remember where the term "hacker" actually originated from? Maybe electric_soul? Kim?
`pr0digy
lol, I did one of those "hacker" things once just for fun. Most of it was Javascript, only the last few levels were at all challanging... A bit of fun for awhile I guess. The decent one I played once was when you had to look for bugs in device drivers and all sorts of . No web interface, just a nice unix shell :)
Turbonium
I have no flippin' clue how to do this thing.
Intense_Sounds
assignment is one equal sign.

so the real file is ='xnet.js'

sorry to ask this..

if you really don't want to know, dont read the question below

in the 'right' file, there is a comment //*cough* before that there is a line of binary .. if i 'translate' that to ascii it has some strange caraters in it.. and i have no idea how to type those (i can ctrl+v them) so before i start to search for a way to type that.. is that the password?

diffusion
I used to be good at this. I can't find this "right" file.

This is so frustrating.

I'd say that is strange, what's up with the double equals and the apostrophes.

If you add `command` to a unix-bash style command phrase, you'd get the first program in the string to use the output of what's inside the ``'s.

That was a bad explanation. Say you'd want to play all the mp3 files in a directory. Then mpg123 `ls *.mp3` would do.

Get it!?

I also discovered that there is an empty directory in www.xipernet.com/main

There is something funny, but I can't figure it out yet!
