Finally got a white label of this thing. Its the remix that Oakenfold played EARLY this year. I love it. Add's a new twist on a timeless classic.

| I thought this was being released as Angeles - Light Over Me but it seems I was wrong. I heard good things about the original "Gate Of Light Mix" but can't remember much about it. Anyway, the new Transa remix is beautiful. Dark and deep yet melodic in the classic Hook Recordings Transa style and beautifully driving. Not to mention that the vocals flow beautifully along that dark but subtle synthy melody. The melody reminds me quite a bit of that of Chicane - Sunstroke (Disco Citizens On The Train Remix) but in no way is it a rip off. Overall an awesome remix and definitely one of Transa's best. |

This was pretty ordinary. I don't know what's so special about this remix.
Wasn't really that uplifting.

The remixs are also on flammable, with scatterbomb on the flip.
Both tune inn and juno have these in stock for about 2 weeks now. |

I just started playing this again, and WOW WOW WOW!!!
This is even more stunning than when I was first playing it.
THis really gets you moving, and it doesnt need a breakdown and a huge big line to do it.
I wish Transa were still around....my all time fav act |

Yeah this kinda confused me when I read this thread and people were talking about it being new... even I've had a copy for absolutely ages (well over a year) and I'm usually the last to know :p
Absolutely love it though, no big tune or a spectacular breakdown or anything just an awesome groove and amazing flow across the track! |

That has to be one of the best songs that came out of 99. I love most of what has been released by flammable over the years.
I haven't heard these new remixes in full, but what I hear of the samples they don't really do the original release that much justice. Although still worthy tracks, the originals are a lot better. (They didn't really need a remix, or if they did they should have put the originals on the B side or something and sold 2 releases.) |
