yep, tandem jumped two years ago. it was, simply put, amazing. it's the real life matrix when you're up there, hovering 14,000 feet above the world. Everything was frame by frame as you're looking down on the world. just amazing.
i did it in the hunter valley (approx $400 incl. your own cool video tape!)

you can also do it at picton

one of those things i think everybody must do at least once in their lives :) |

yeh...
snowboarding in NZ/canada/europe. brilliant!
bungee if you're game enough. figure if you're crazy enough to jump out of a plane, jumping off a ledge with a rope tied to your legs will be easy peasy ;)
whitewater rafting, mountain climbing, canyoning, hang-gliding, water/jet skiing
hmm.. what else? gotta love the adventurous stuff :p |

| yeah I couldn't die without skydiving first, definitely something on the to-do list. Whitewater rafting is very fun too, a combination of adrenalin (depending on the crazyness-rating of the river), refreshing sprays of water to the face, and the best part - beautiful scenery! Depends where you go of course, I guess I'm speaking from my only experience, which was in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada (the ski resort)... of course it was in the summer, and the weather was incredible, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been :*( |

Hell YEA!!! how do u describe this, "The best time you'll have with your pants on"
Done aerobatics in a plane, and i've jumped out of one at just over 10,000 feet (Tandem - that's where ur attached to an instructor)
Cost $350 including a role of film and a video.
Did my jump in Torquay. I think the company was called Skydive Euroa.
You hear people talking about "the Rush" and you just think to yourself, man what a freak.
U'll never had so much adrenelin pumped through your body in the 10 seconds it takes for the guy to open the door, step out with you and go "Ready, steady, ARRRHHHHHHH!!!" and then you somersult off the wing of the plane.
Believe me, you feel the rush, and it's like nothing u've ever experienced or and likely to experience. Better than MIKE playing Universal Nation as his finale.
Now I only have the bungee to conquer, which I think is way more scarry cos you can see the ground.
But really, it's well worth the money, something u have to do before u die. |
