Been in the dating scene for a while now and I think I met the one, Don't wanna be over enthusiastic but its hard not to she's actually cooler to hang with than most of my guy friends. (thats a first) Any rate she pulled some weird on me the other day and I know details are importante to the fairer sex so what this about?
I'm sitting at a banquet eating the cowboy grits out of a plate of organic noodle substance, when I get this phone call, its the girl that I took out the night b4, i'm like rocking but this man is eating at the moment so she'll just have to wait. So I finish my din din, and decide its high time to return all those phone calls I ignored. So I go outside and start returning calls, I finially get to hers and I say Hey whats going on?
She:nothing just woke up blah blah whats with u?
Me:just finished dinner returning your call.
She: welp no i didn't call
me:u shure it rang during dinner with ur name on the caller ID
she:welp It prolly dailed in my pocket.
The thing is she has a motorala flip phone, how the frick do you accidently press a key thats covered by the other half of the phone plus a battery?

No i don't think thats the case either cuz my name starts with a B and she's not ever called me b4 so I know its not on the phone log or anything, Unless she don't have a friend with a name that starts with A. But why would that person let the phone ring out, I listened to my messaged and I heard 1 second of what sounded like music and a click out. |

It's either a game or utter stupidity, sure, but why did you call her back so fast? You make it look like you have endless free time and nothing else to do when she's not around. She didn't even leave a message and you called back an hour later? Yeeeeesh, don't act like a high-schooler with a crush.
You wanna call her back after the date for 30 seconds to ask if she got home OK (assuming you didn't drive her), that's cool, I recommend that, but don't call her 24 hours later just to 'chat', regardless of whether or not her name was on your caller ID.
Anyway, do what montie said, just don't look into it too much... who cares? Call her a couple of days later, make another date, you'll see then whether or not she's still interested.
One thing I don't get - exactly how did she "just wake up" after you finished dinner? |

| i dont see it as a game i see it as u overly examining things...trust me it ws just a mistake...that isnt really a mind game...now if she called u and said she was pregnant with ur kids and uve never slept with her well then thats a freakin mind game lol...but if she said she didnt call and u saw her name on call display well then it was prolly just a up somewhere maybe she was calling someone else and hit ur number by accident...happens to me all the time...i start talking to one of my friends siblings and then realize its my other firends sibling and im like uhhhhhhhh i called the wrong number sorry Vanessa/whatever the persons name is |

I take it you don't have a girlfriend, whiskers... although not every girl is like this, I'd give it about an 85% chance that you'll witness the "power struggle" when you do. |

| obviously it was a mistake and she is as confused about it as you are. You can't rule out every possiblility. Once my boyfriends brother accidently called me because he didn't lock his keys and since i wasn't at my phone, his phone left a half hour message of his ass rubbing against his pants. Also, it wasn't deliberate because it was in the middle of his cooking class that was 2 hours out of town so he got dinged with a nice long distance charge for it. |
