| Great stats Mallard!! And for the Aussies, if you think that the only way we can win is by penalties, then why give penalties away? Were just playing to one of ouyr strengths, just like every other sportsman. Beckham is one of the best dead ball takers in the world, so why not look for freekicks close to the box! Rusedski uses the power in his serve to his advantage but noone calls him boring..Its like when Lomu was playing for NZ, they would give the ball to him and let him run, but noone said that was boring! with england, give the ball to wilkinson and hell kick it because its his strength. Hes not just about to be voted player of the year for being boring!! All the crap in the Aussie media is just cos they are ting themselves over the fact that theyre gonna be beaten. Everyone knows England have been the best in the world over the last 3 years ... fact! |

That arguement right there is full of holes, but ill let you figure them out.
Oh, and for Englands sake, i suggest you dont change your tune.. Last time an Aussie player suggested that England play boring ball, England changed their ways (ie, play more of a running game) and they were compehensively thrashed (1991). |

| "We are the CHAMPIONS! my friends" springs to mind!! And how UNBORING were we today. It takes the piss that the Aussies called us boring all through the tournament, but in my opinion the best team in the world at the moment won the game and deserved to for mixing up the play, from scoring tries to jonnys penalties... WELL DONE ENGLAND... AND BAD LUCK AUSSIES... better luck at the Ashes!! (You cant win everything!) |

We care about football, rugby and at during the summer the country goes tennis mad!
