so Seb Fontaine is on the decks, he's throwing some nice banging tracks, never heard of them before. Crowd is pumped, everything is perfect.
I'm in the booth.
Someone pokes my back from behind the plexiglass.
I turn around, I say hi.
The guy goes: "can we make requests"
I say: "i don't think he'll play it"
The guy says: " oh ok " :sadgreen:
I ask: "what did you want him to play, just curious"
The request guy: "I was wondering if he could play Benny Benassi Satisfaction"

I smile, and I say: " No he'll never play that, its an old tune, and it doesn't even fit"
The guy: " oh ok, i understand, its not his style "

Since when is Benny Benassi - Satisfaction something that would be played at Dome? I understand that Seb Fontaine would never play it; it's not his style, but a trance DJ might play it.
Oh, and btw, I believe Dome is now all hiphop. |

dome is now hip hop. but it use to be THE cheeze central of montrreal wen mcmario was there. so since they play the cheeziest once its already killed, most likely to be there, plus i herd on mix 96, so its for sure,
and i remember hearing satisfaction at aria wen felix the housecat was there. marco g spinned it (wen it was good and no one knew it and it didnt go on the radio) |

guys you will not believe me , the same situation happened to me on 17th @ aria , it was after Ishii's set when Preach and Marco G were doing a tag team , this guy (hip hop style with a cap and stuff) pokes me from behind while i was in the booth , he asks me "does the dj take requests ?" i said maybe and then he asks again "can you tell him to play benny benassi - satisfaction ?" , i answered him that they don't have the vinyl with them ...
