I have this 50 min SVCD and want to cut a 5 minute clip from it. I've NEVER done any video-editing before. The clip must be viewable with a standard .mpg player afterwards (does NOT need to be an SVCD afterwards). I want the easiest way to do it, only thing I DON'T want is de-code and re-encode so it will keep the original size and quality. BobbyBrown Had the exact same problem awhile ago, and found this little program called MPEG2Cut, worked well and I managed to fit the SVCD movie onto a cd afterward, try it out.
