| What if there was a tune of the week and then from there have the 4-5 tunes of the week per month in a poll for tune of the month? |

I'm against the idea on the forum - why ?
genre nazis, if the song picked isn't part of their favourite style they'll accuse it of being biased & it'll go down in flames
how can 20'000 odd members whittle down to 1 track that people agree on, impossibly imo
calling tunes that ppl in the scene have access to is unfair on those who don't, as they won't even know what the song sounds like so can't vote for it
just my input anyway :)

agreed about it being basically impossible for everyone to come to a single song. an important aspect to look at also are the biases on TA. i mean, not that there are any towards specific djs or anything *COUGHarminpvdg&dCOUGH*. so variety of tracks will most likely be... limited

| surely we could just leave the decsion making down to the moderators, i mean, they have a decent taste and presumably access to the latest tracks, just gotta make sure that they put the odd progressive or techno track on and no one would complain. They could even put on like classics from early nineties to remeniss about :D |

| How about everyone post what they want as song of the week, then close the thread or end posts for it after a couple days or so. Then we take whichever songs appeared the most (let's say like 5 or so) and make a poll out of it? |
