Looks like it was a whole set up from the beginning. Ramon did say that "it was all going to be on Jack" after its all finished. |

And as for the virus...hmmmm; I think it's either Jack that is going to be infected, or Palmer already is infected, and the pills he's taking are keeping the virus dormant. |
