Hard Trance or Hardstyle?

Is someone remembers dj neil?
if so... so what style is he?
and is there more artists like him? |

I dont know much of DJ Neil as im still a noob, but i know it can be hard to distinguish between Hard Trance and Hardstyle as there is many grey areas, it depends where your cut off point is I guess.
Progressing from Hard Trance to Hardstyle by using several common artists id say goes like this (in general):
Dumonde->Cosmic gate->DJ Scot project->Hennes & Cold->Derb->Warmduscher->Luna and all the hardstyle stuff
My cut off point is probably about where Warmduscher sit and I'd classify them as Hardstyle, although they still might have a Hard Trance influence |

clever. id say derb-warmduscher is the cutoff. (as in both are very borderline for each) like the little diagram though, youre one clever bastard hehe |

Never heard of the DJ. And yeah, hardstyle and hard trance are very similar. Check out some of these:
The Prophet
Technoboy
DJ Luna
Lady Dana
DJ Isaac
DHHD
^those are all what most of us consider to be hardstyle producers/DJs. |
