Empath or Xone 62?? please...

i'm thinking of buy a Rane Empath or Xone 62 to replace my DJM-300, seems most posts here said empath has the best sound and Xone 62 is the 2nd...DJM 600 = last....
so now my questions is whats the real difference between empath and Xone 62? i mix breakbeat and house mostly, sometimes trance. which one is better for it? cuz seems Xone 62 has more features than empath, so i'm still thinking which one i should get.. give me some suggestions please.. thank you |

| oops, i forgot to say i don't do scratching and when i got used to play with empath or Xone 62 will i able to play a DJM 600 well?? thank you.. (my english SUCK, sorry) |

| I say go with the Xone:62 over the Empath. The Xone:62 is the best mixer I've used. It's great for any type of mixing (dnb, trance, house, progressive all regularly played on my Xone:62). I think if anything you'd feel downgraded going to the DJM-600 in a club from the Xone:62. The 4-band EQ on the 62 is great and so are the filters. Go for it! |

If I were in your shoes, I'd also try out the Tascam X-9 to compare with the Xone 62.

| I suggest the Xone:62, Im gonna be buying it in several weeks when I get the cash I need. For a long time I was going to get the Tascam X9 because a friend suggested that I get it, but after reading reviews about it - I changed my mind on it - also I dont need all the features that it offers, I just need quality sound, and the Xone is probably the best you can get. |
