| Exactly A US and China war would be wthe wort thing that could happen....it wsould be terible...but you can tell Taiwan not to buy the missles but hey this is the way I think ...and this is the difference..>America pushes arms and Canada pushes peace..Diplomacy and not war is the way I think |

How has the US not pushed peace over ROC and how the hell is Canada going to push peace in the region? |

By staying out of their business. America think's it's the world's police force. YOu think america is free,.. But they control the world with their corporate greed. 10 % of the people in America own 90% of the wealth....90% of the people own 10% of the wealth how is that free..the richer ger richer...it's so messed up it's unbelievable. |

Anyway I'm not sure how I got dragged into this. I'm not one of these lackeys who instantly believes everything the media or the president of China tells me, but given I wasn't really familiar with this situation before you brought it up, I figured it was worth at least "mentioning" what China feels (or say they feel) about the situation. Besides, why should I immediately believe that your word is more reliable than that of the media or Hu Jintao? How do we know that China isn't pointing missiles at Taiwan? How do we know that it isn't in the best interests of the Taiwanese to purchase patriots from the US to defend themselves from a possible missile attack?
(Now you've gone and done it. You've actually made me stand up for US foreign policy - how did that happen? :conf: ) |

Yes I agree with you,Americans Foreign policies are VERY messed up,and now finally they are seeing the concequences in Iraq.But the problem is that this whole World police attitude wont change unless someone stops them,and right now I dont see that happening any time soon.SO just seat back and watch as they go to invade more countries.
