Too much empahsis on post count?

Does the TA Community discriminate by post count?
personally i feel post count and custom status only show part of a members contribution to the community, date joined often seems something that is overlooked to me
(i'm also aware that i have a small number of posts, but im not moaning because of that) |

i went a long time before i started posting, i personnally just enjoyed checking the posts as they were.. i don't feel that there is anything unfair with granting custom status based on post count, because that seems to be the only measurable way to know the activeness of a member (unless swamper know how many times someone has pulled up the site:nervous: )
post discrimination takes part in a small percentage of the community, i wouldn't worry about it. it's a small ego thing:rolleyes: |

Post count means nothing IMHO, I lurked for quite a bit before I posted anyway. |

Well i know i do! :stongue: Everytime i hear about someone haveing 2000/3000 + posts, i think of them as being loosers with no life outside of TA :stongue: |

| not really... maybe TA does a little bit... but i've been to and am a member of other sites where certain members feel they are God b/c they had 1598 utterly useless things to say... methinks someone needs to re-evaluate their priorities... or atleast not be such a snob about it :p |
