Behringer DJX-700 or Numark DXM-06

I am about to purchase a mixer with an effects built in to it but don't know which one to buy between the Behringer DJX-700 or Numark DXM-06. Some advise would be greatly appreciated...

| If effects really matter to you, go for the numark. The effects on the DJX really suck. But, ofcourse, the DJX is cheaper. I say, get the numark! |

Thanks mate... I hae been talkin to a few djs around here also and have recommended the Numark as well.. apparently the output sound is much better and the effects much crispier!

| yeah, the output of the DJX is 80 Db S/N while the numark's output has 85Db S/N Witch is better :) |

I have the Numark DXM-06 and the sound qualtiy is very clean!
The effects on the mixer are very basic though - 3 types of echo, filter, flanger and phaser... mmm flanger *droools* :tongue2 |

well guess what fellas? Bought a Numark DXM-06 as advised by you kind people and i'm lovin' it. THe effects sound great and the 24-bit sound just amazing... Have to get used to the x-fader though but shouldn't take too long because I used to have a Vestax 06PRO due to the easy smooth x-fader for scratching. So the negative thing about the DXM-06 is that the fader isn't as great as the vestax faders BUT for sound quality and mixing I am a happy camper for purchasing the NUMARK as I DJ house music more than I scratch. I've decided to keep my Vestax anyway... so thanks for the heads up fellas... much appreciated!

Hey guys,
Been recording mixes on my new mixer (DXM-06)but sound coming out of it sounds when playback after recording. Any one with the same mixer have any problems??? Am i doin sumtin wrong?? |
