searching for a new mixer

| so yeah, i just had a post about new turntables. but i was wondering if anybody could give me some opinions of the Numark DXM-06 mixer. Im looking for one with built-in effects. Do they sound good, or am I better off getting a seperate effects mod? |

pioneer djm-600!!!!!!!!!!!
the only mixer to go for if you want built in effects. |

oh not true. while the djm-600 is a great mixer, the effects on the 500 do sound a bit better if you compare them side by side. also the tascam x9 has some good built in effects. stanton's vrm10 has some built in effects but i have not used that mixer so i can't comment on them. cheers. |

| The X9 has some great effects and I think it's overall a better mixer than the Pioneer. Also, I remember using a friends Roland and really liking the built in DSP effects. Though I don't know if they even still make that mixer. |

there not of the same quality.
and vio while you make a valid point about the djm 500 effect, consider the fact that the 600's effect are far easier to manipulate.
i'e for the echo effect on the 600 - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12.....
for the 500 - 0,2,4,6,8,10,12......
if that makes sense.
and the atscam x-9 costs nearly a grand.:eyes: |
