I'm convinced that Jesus is a DJ, and so much more! I like the question, but need a moment to think about the answer...
DC Generator
I think he would definitly spin downtempo stuff. The jazzy Thievery Corporation/Jazzanova kind. Damn I love that music. Uplifting and mellow

Jesus - The Holy Spirit

Would be something absolutely uplifting and joyable

downtempo!
DC Generator
Like someone said before, sure Jesus would spin downtempo. But he would also have a alter=ego nobody knew about where he spun hardcore drum & bass ala J Magik.

definately downtempo/ ambient/ maybe some acid jazz ... i think in between thievery corporation and mark farina .. around that area .. remember .. jesus was a mellow guy, outside his shouts and yells to sinners and people who didn't believe in him. he was always cool and collective, that also brings up the question .. did he use the mushrooms and acid .?? he did have those mixed personalities, according to the bible, and was never 'normal' to others....

hahhahahahahahhaa

ALRIGHT! I think 've got it. Let's assume that Jesus would be spinning at the rave of the century, which would last 6 days with the 7th day free. That means that he would be taking us on a SERIOUS musical journey, which could cover a wide range of styles (but only good stuff, no rubbish). No warm up DJ cuz they'd all have those days off to relax, party, mingle with the common folk...
Anyway, JC would start off with downtempo/ambient/minimal vocal stuff, lush classical elements, and then gradually move in to a bit of gospel and soul, keeping it kinda funky as he moves into his progressive house set. By day 3 he'd be well into his drum & bass set, but at the end of that night will have started teasing us with a mixture of hip-hop/breakbeat/gargage grooves. Morning of day 4 could feature lots of favorites/classics, with the Lord taking requests before he REALLY starts ruling with his spiritually- uplifting-booty-shaking-hipswaying-hands-up Advanced TechnoTrance!!!
