I have two sound cards installed in my computer right now and i really wanted to be able to use one sound card as the master and the other as the monitor. Is Traktor capable of this or can it only use two outputs from the same card?

I'm pretty sure it will only use one sound card. The Soundblaster Live and Audigy cards and other higher-end cards can do dual stereo outputs.

You can do this with the old traktor DJ's studios below ver. 2.0 . But unless you have 2 decent soundcards, it gounna be hard to match beats up because of latency, (say you have a SB live as your main out, and your using your internal one on the mobo for monitoring, the SB live has ASIO support, giving you pretty decent stably latency of around 10ms, while you onboard mobo might give you about 200ms latency, basically you will have a hard time trying to match beats up with that much differnce in time). Try upgrading your soundcard, or go with the giga soundcard they reccomend, it will be worth the price. I run it out of my 828 right into my DJM-600 and dont even bother with traktors built in mixer, and I must say, I use it alot, even at gigs, its really a cool program...

I have a SB Live and the onboard audio from the nforce 2, which is actually better than the SB Live. Amdmaxx, does 2.5 have support for two soundcards or are you just saying it might?

Still 1 soundcard only, just a nice upgrade...
