Well it finally happened. Was involved in a fairly fast car accident today. All my fault as well. Comin round a corner, lost control, the back end started snakin, then hit the side of an on coming car, which sent that into the ditch, and me spinning round eventually comin to a stop with my left front wheel in the ditch, and the back end stcking out in the road.

We were both unheart, but i feel lucky as to have got out without any injuries, other than a swollen little finger, heh.

My car mite be a write off coz it is only worth about 3 grand, crumpled in the front off it pretty badly, the other car wasnt damaged that bad, even thougn it ended up in the ditch.

Jst left me feeling a little shocked, annoyed with my self and gutted.

Need my car to get to work, and had things planned. So doubt ill be able to do a few events which i was planning, so sure u will be gutted u wont be seeign me :p

Just a warning to any drivers, the roads r slippery as , so be careful :)

Hopefully they wont write off my car, really dont wanan be lookin for another second hand car :(

Anyways that is all. Just thought i would share my fun day with ya :(

Its kinda lucky i hit the car as well, coz the spin slowed me down, otherwise could have ended up much worse hitting a tree etc

a) are u insured fully comp?

b) whats ur excess?

c) how fast were u going?

d) unlucky :(
flystyler
Yep fully comp.

Dunno what the excess is, but if its over 2 grand they will write it off

I wasnt going very fast, about 55mph max. Been down the road loads of times, a lot faster.

pesky slippery roads have nearly gotten old tech a few times, but the old volvo 480 handles them tight corners pretty leet :p

its just a shame that it takes accidents to make a majority of ppl take more care...i feel very strongly on this type of thing as most ppl will know. just be safe ppl.
