I have a Sony Ericsson T310 and was looking for some ringtones and background pictures (and animations). All the sites I find are for the UK though it seams.
Anyone have any websites for me to download ringtones and/or animations for the phone that I can order from Canada? |

unfortunately i cant download the ring tonez cause they must be under 3kb to be able to download them onto this type of phone :( but the backgrounds are cool so thanks.
Another good site for ringtonez is http://www.polyphonicringtonez.com/
Any other good sites would be appreciated or any way I can download a ring tone from that site, edit it and send it to my phone would be appreciated. |

| OK so I download some ringontes from the website i got in thsi thread, they're too big so i download a program that will actually upload it to my phone for me :D only i have a router :( so it wont work so i have to save it to a file but it can only save 3 seconds since its not registered so that ruined my night. i have a wav editing program and not all i need is a midi to wave converter or just a midi editor so i can make the file 3kb or smaller so i can upload it, can anyone hook me up :). |

| I like it, good reception, only problem is downloads are limited to 3KB so you have to make the images or ringtones smaller on your computer and upload them or your outta luck |

OK - wanna get free ringtones, pics and java apps/games without paying those pesky wap fees?
Well, if you have a data cable or infra red or bluetooth with Nokia Data Suite you can!
Here's how its done:
1)Download a program called: "Klondike WAP Browser for Windows - Personal Edition".
2)Register yourself at tagtag.com
3)In the search field in the upper-right corner of tagtag, type your phone manufacturer eg nokia, and click search. A whole bunch of wap sites should come up and if you click on one it'll have the url down the bottom - usually something like "tagtag.com/blade2" or "tagtag.com/quattro" etc... Highlight and copy this url
4)Paste it into the address bar in Klondike Wap browser and enter.
5)Search around the site until you find the link to the ringtone/app/pic you're looking for. Click on the link
6)There will be an error screen. Copy the address in the address bar in klondike. Paste it into your normal web browser. The download should start... unless its a dodgy geocities site that has surpassed its upload limit.
Note on Java apps:
Usually you will only find .jar files, Nokia Data suite also requires the .jad file. To make a .jad file just go here:
http://www.subfuture.com/nokia/
download jadgen.zip, unzip and run.
Happy downloading. |
