Very nice track. Whats the status on your previous song?
State of Matter
I have really bad luck with labels/music industry people. 4 times I've had prospective interest and it ends up in the label/person ignoring my emails. So far nothing is set for release but I'm hoping that this track and my previous one will eventually end up on vinyl.

actually I can answer that for him (ok SoM?). He uses FL Studio and Pro53! He does magic with that vst! :)

SoM: If there's anything you want to add..

Nah thats about it. Pro 53 is a beast.

BTW, track once again reuploaded with respectable percussion. Changed around some of the samples. Didn't realize how sluggish and sloppy the percussion sounded until after i finished the percussion in my new song that i started yesterday. Now it's much better. Going to bring up the production quality on Azure Symphony too (more high frequencies, more solid kick, and better percs.)

Hey bud,

Gonna be honest. I really liked this track, it has an epic feel to it.

I think if, instead of moving on from this song to work on another one, you refine this track it will be releasable.

My suggestions are 1.) Like you said, make the percs. a little more complex and at the same time soften them (with filters or tube saturation or whatever).
2.)Around 4:30 the melody gets a little lost. This isn't suprising considering the massive harmonically rich pad in the background and the other lead. EQ, EQ, EQ.

Other than this, give it some mastering polish and this track'll own.
State of Matter
Yeah I agree I wanna work this one until the production quality is professional. I'll take what you said into consideration and keep working on this for the rest of this week.

sounds really nice.... i like it :)
nothing more to say :)

State of Matter
Thanks a lot guys:) Good to know people appreciate your work.

I've increased the resonance on the modulation string, sounds a lot less muddy and rigid now, more flowing. Gonna play around with some more hi hat percussion and then call it done. You know it sounded like crap to me yesterday but now I listen back and I like it again, I guess I had just heard it 8 million times yesterday.

that's the worst thing with your own track's....
you think it sounds great at the start, but at the time the track starts to get finished you almost hate it caus you have heard it soo many times over and over again...

and then you let someone else listen to it and they think it sounds great and you are like wtf... come on.. tell me the truth "i'm telling the truth.. it sounds great.. can't find anything wrong with it".. and you are like wtf.. listen to the melodie again.. it's nothing speciall with it.. isn't it like annoying or something?

hehehehehehe... there should be something so you could make you track and when you are done, forget about it so you can listen to it with "new" ears and enjoy it.. hehe :)
