Weird ass OS...and what the hell kinda name is Windows Longhorn? Did the guy who gave it that name come from Txeas or something? I'm on XP Pro but have to agree, 2K is excellent....way faster than XP Pro, at least on this old ass system it would be faster...unfortuntatly, I don't have a 2K installation/OS CD....:(

hmm... i have a feeling that you will lose even more controll in this os... scary... won't install it for other reasons than testing...

Its one thing to make eye candy, its another thing to make ugly eye candies, at least Mac OS X is smooth and organized, Longhorn looks like a whole bunch of words plastered all over the screen, chaos. It will improve between now and the release which I heard was in 2006, whatever that was reported by CNN tech.

to the "what kind of a name is windows longhorn" comment:

longhorn is the code name. it isn't actually called that. the real name is Windows UX (yes, i think its hilarious too.. considering what it says if you make it one word). stands for User eXperience.

<--worked on the longhorn team a year ago.

<--has a longhorn shirt if anyone wants it :p

lol @ longhorn shirt. I am picturing a hilarious version of it, I am sure that it is really not that funny in real life. But there are too many inuendos.
