Hey people,
I finished a techno-ish track with funk hooks. Curious to how this stuff falls here :D

It doesn't really build to a climax, but IMHO not each and every track should stand out that way.

As said before, its too repetitive, even for techno. Although I wouldn't really call it tehno. More funky house pitched up to +8.
Maybe if you made some changes to your hook as it went along. Filter changes, little pattern changes at the end of phrase drops.
Its a nice funky little piece, it just needs some progressiv changes to make it a little more interesting. Even percussion changes like andding in a ride or whatever. You know what I mean. |

| yo man good stuff as always, it works perfectly for me at -4.. as above stated, the intro mixin and overall good use some perc tweaking or just some basic fills just to liven up the repetitiveness a bit, but hey who cares i'll still play dis :D |

Can't I get away with the repetitiveness by claiming it's a "DJ-tool" ? :D
Anyway, I was considering putting a vocal on top of it of some random mumblings with my best big black dude-voice... |

| even so, do the fills thing .. the perc sounds good u just gotta add more layers or variate something, but everything SOUNDS good to me ;) |

How the hell do you make so many tunes in such a short time? Very differnt this though than your others...
That wah guitar is very funker but it really is too repetitive |

yeah I know now, don't worry, I'll redo it and make it count :)
and yeah, I pretty much churn out a new tune every week nowadays :) Have to work hard to get enough material for my liveset |
